Flat lapping is a precision process used where the surface finish and flatness of the work piece must be held to extremely close specifications. Grind All has the capabilities to lap and measure flatness in the millionths.
This highly accurate process requires the knowledge and experience to measure using an optical flat and converting helium light bands to inches or micro inches.
