CNC Grinding, Computer numerical control (CNC) grinding uses microcomputers, directed by mathematical data, to carry out various machining operations. This type of programmable automation in which the computer controls each step of the operation permits predictable machining time, consistent and accurate work pieces, flexibility, and fast change-overs. Grind All Inc. was one of the first shops in the state of Ohio to offer CNC grinding.

PRECISION HONING

Our Precision Honing department has the ability to obtain extremely accurate features with a battery of Sunnen equipment. We specialize in long, small diameters using both our vertical hones and tube hones.

CENTERLESS GRINDING

Centerless grinding is similar to centered grinding with the exception that there is no spindle. This allows high through-put since parts can be quickly inserted and removed from the process.

INTERNAL GRINDING

Grind All has the resources to handle all your CNC ID grinding requirements. We have CNC internal grinders along with a 72A Extended Internal Grinder, which is capable of grinding 18″ long.

CYLINDRICAL EXTERNAL GRINDING

CNC OD Grinders allow us to offer customers the quality needed on even the most difficult center-type grinding projects. We have both straight approach and angle head CNC capabilities, and all our CNC equipment is supported by in-process gauging for added accuracy.

SURFACE GRINDING

Surface grinding machines are used to remove a minute amount of material, creating a smooth flat surface to a very tight tolerance. Our Okomoto surface grinders surface finishes of 8 micro or better.

FLAT LAPPING

Flat lapping is a precision process used where the surface finish and flatness of the work piece must be held to extremely close specifications.
